From a performing arts conservatory to R1: Doctoral Universities; from one of the most progressive small colleges in the nation, to a women’s college, to polytechnics/institutes of technology; from a historically Black university to flagship public universities, the Class of 2022 has embraced the extraordinary potential of their futures while recognizing the value of their time at Ellis.

“As students who have been under the yoke of the pandemic since the beginning of their college/university consideration processes, I could ultimately not be more proud of the resilience, good humor, and self-awareness that the Class of 2022 has demonstrated,” shares Keith Bryner, Director of College Counseling. “Our graduating seniors got right to the complicated work of college search and selection while simultaneously navigating a shifting higher education landscape with the kind of grace and aptitude that rivals any class that I have worked with here at Ellis. To see both the expressions of care and the expressions of determination that our seniors have brought to their lives at school and their plans beyond it is truly life- and work-affirming for us in the College Counseling Office.”
