For it’s the strange thing about all these prohibitionists, whether they’re trying to prohibit alcohol or tobacco, that for all the supposed moral righteousness of their cause, they never hesitate to tell the most outrageous lies to further their cause. It’s one of the deepest contradictions of their position. Somehow or other they always feel obliged to exaggerate the problem (if there was any problem at all). Another fed tobacco tax increase on the horizon??

Our favorite anti-tobacco zealots are at it again with a proposal that will double the 2009 taxes on cigarettes and bring "equality" in taxes on other tobacco products like Swedish snus, dissolvables and E Cigs. Senate bill S.1403.
